Mary Archambault is originally from upstate NY, moving to Charleston, SC in 1988.  A self-taught artist, Mary has refined her skills through local art classes and workshops with various artists.  She favors watercolor but delights in creating paintings using a variety of techniques and media. Her artistic style spans still life to the expressive freedom of abstract art. Most recently Mary has found a new creative outlet - drawing and painting in her sketchbook when walking the beach or hiking and on her travels. Her art is influenced by her love of travel, the Adirondack Mountains of NY and the beauty of the South Carolina Lowcountry.
