Victoria Kelly retired in June 2021 after 39 years as a Registered Nurse. Sitting on the porch overlooking the marsh on Edisto, Victoria was overcome with the beauty in front of her. She knew at that moment she needed to capture the scene in a painting. Victoria started this journey in watercolors. Now working primarily in oils, her work explores the constant change in the Lowcountry landscape. She enjoys painting plein air and feels close to God while in nature. Victoria’s growth has accelerated through participation in many classes and workshops over the past several years.Victoria is a member of the Summerville Artist Guild, Edisto Artist Guild, and the Charleston Artist Guild.  She has participated in many Plein Air events and  especially loves the Edisto Plein air paint out.
