"Green Cutthroat Trout"
"The Art of Fly Fishing" was sparked by a personal request from Ulrich’s daughter, an avid fly-fisher. Tasked with creating a salmon fly painting for her daughter’s marriage announcement, Ulrich was introduced to the unique world of fly-fishing—a sport with its own distinct culture, artistry, and passion. The project evolved into a larger exploration of this compelling subject, blending Ulrich’s love for nature, history, and storytelling.“The artistry of fly-fishing and the passion of its enthusiasts have opened new doors of inspiration for me,” Ulrich shares. Her works capture intricate fishing flies, dynamic fish, and serene landscapes, offering a glimpse into the sport’s beauty.
