Jen Spaker

Jen Spaker, a painter of over 20 years, works primarily in oils and draws inspiration from the coastal beauty of the South Carolina Lowcountry. Now based in Mount Pleasant, her work reflects the colorful sunsets, expansive skies, and relaxed coastal lifestyle of the Charleston area. Beach scenes and figures enjoying the shoreline are a central theme in this collection. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Spaker also spent two decades in Western New York before moving south to the Charlotte area and eventually settling in coastal South Carolina. Largely self-taught, she has supplemented her artistic journey with numerous workshops and classes over the years. Though she pursued degrees in psychology and nursing in college, her lifelong passion for art has remained constant.
