Amy Inabinet

Amy E. Inabinet is a South Carolina-based emerging abstract artist whose work explores the relationship between geometric structure and intuitive mark-making. Working primarily in acrylic, she builds layered surfaces through a process of addition, removal, concealment, and discovery. Recurring circles, fragmented forms, and gestural marks create a visual language that balances order with imperfection. Inabinet’s recent work investigates memory, searching, and the traces that remain as an image evolves. Her paintings invite individual interpretation, allowing familiarity and uncertainty to exist simultaneously. She lives and works in the Charleston, South Carolina area.
